Bernhard Grinders appoints Steven Swanson Western USA Territory Manager

Bernhard and Company – manufacturer of Bernhard Grinders, the world’s finest blade sharpening systems for turf cutting machines – has named Steven Swanson Western USA Territory Manager.

Swanson will guide sales and distribution of the Bernhard product line in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming, as well as the Canadian provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan.

His duties will include regularly calling upon Bernhard distributors in the region and spreading the word about Bernhard Grinders’ unmatched benefits to golf course budgets and turf conditioning. He will also spearhead the company’s renowned training and educational programming for technicians, superintendents, GMs, CFOs, and owners/operators.

A graduate of Michigan State University’s acclaimed turfgrass management program, Swanson was previously Director of Grounds & Golf Course Operations at Red Rock Country Club, Arroyo Golf Club, and Siena Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nev. He has garnered experience in many facets of golf course management during his 15-year career, including business operations, turfgrass science, pest and disease suppression, water and soil sciences, irrigation and equipment maintenance/repair.
