Armorex and Bac-Pack
Soil Technologies Corp. has announced that their products, Armorex nematicide, and Bac-Pack microbial blend, are now available through SiteOne Landscape Supply. In research conducted in Naples Florida, Armorex and Bac-Pack applied to nematode infested golf course putting greens showed up to 90% control of lance nematodes.
The combo of Armorex and Bac-Pack resulted in the turf that recovered quickly from nematode damage. Golf course supers report that within a couple of weeks after being treated with Armorex and Bac-Pack, the damaged areas had recovered nicely.
Armorex is O.M.R.I. listed for organics and contains the essential oils of sesame, clove, and horseradish. The product is a liquid that is diluted with water for easy spray application. Bac-Pack beneficial microbial blend provides a diverse population of beneficial bacteria to help damaged plants re-grow a healthy root system.
