Planting Seeds
Albaugh, LLC today released its 2023 Sustainability Report, “Our Journey is Rooted in Growth.” The report focuses on the company’s progress in its sustainability journey: improving safety, strengthening corporate governance, and driving innovation with sustainable solutions to boost crop yields.
The report is structured with reference to the internationally recognized Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), providing detailed data as well as stories illustrating some of the ways Albaugh is advancing sustainability across the company and in partnership with customers, suppliers and communities.
“As a leading supplier of crop protection, seed treatment, and other specialty products with a 45-year history of serving customers around the world, this report provides tangible evidence of our progress in meeting very specific objectives to integrate sustainability in the products we make, the research and development we pursue, and the policies we implement to govern our operations as a business and our strategy for the future,” said Kurt Pedersen Kaalund, CEO, Albaugh. “Just as important, it lays the groundwork for us to accelerate our sustainability efforts going forward – in critically important areas like greenhouse gas emissions and waste, where we are developing strategies to optimize our operations.”
“The key take-away for the report is the central role sustainability plays in our mission and values at Albaugh, as well as our growth strategy and future as a leader in crop protection,” Kaalund continued. “First and foremost, we are committed to continuous sustainable innovation that supports the long-term health of our planet and the people and communities we serve.”
