Reward offered after golf course vandalized 3 times in 10 days

The Barefoot Resort and Golf Club in North Myrtle Beach is offering a $15,000 reward for information leading to the arrests of the person or persons who vandalized their property just a few days ago.

Police say vandals damaged several areas at the golf course with ATV’s or automobiles on November 19th, 23rd, and 28th. Ground crews found the damage the next morning each time.

“Damages are different, depending on where the damage is. In most places, it’s grass related,” said General Manager Dave Genevro. “There’s been some fences that have been torn down and fences that have been replaced.”

Most of the damage has been repaired, and the course is still playable.

North Myrtle Beach Police are investigating. Anyone with information should North Myrtle Beach Detective Sergeant Paul Sheets at 843-280-5519.
