$53,000 voted to build drought-proof PMC golf course (Jan 27)

January 27, 2015 – It was perfect springtime weather last weekend as Daniel “Danny” Hoff led a tour of the changes beginning at the Pine Mountain Club golf course.

Hoff, just 27 years old, grew up in a house built just above the tee box for the 8th hole of this course. He went to Frazier Park, El Tejon and Frazier Mountain High Schools, won a junior golf championship at about 10, worked in golf course maintenance for two years, went to college, played some football, worked at the PMC pro shop every summer until he was 22, then joined the Adams Golf Pro Tour Series for four years.

Now he is back home as the PMC Director of Golf Operations. On Saturday, Jan. 17 he was also given a $53,000 vote of confidence from…(please see below to view full stories and photographs)
