The Lake Junaluska Golf Course will host closest to the pin contest on the course’s 100th birthday, Wednesday, July 24.
In honor of the golf course’s 100th birthday on July 24, golfers can play for cart fee only, which is $8 for nine holes and $16 for 18 holes. The cost of participating in an optional closest to the pin contest will be $5. The contest entails using a marker to track whose ball came closest to the hole.
Birthday cake will also be served.
The Lake Junaluska Golf Course is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
